Is my business too small to benefit from AI?

No. Small businesses often benefit more from AI than large ones, because a single automation removes proportionally more of the founder's time, and founders don't have teams to absorb repetitive work. If your business handles enquiries, follows up on leads, or answers common questions, AI can help.

The counter-intuitive part

Large enterprises have entire teams doing the work that AI can automate: sales development reps chasing leads, admin staff answering emails, ops teams moving data between systems. When they add AI, they save a fraction of a team's time. When a solo founder or small team adds the same automation, they save a much larger fraction of their own time, because they were doing the work personally.

The "we're too small" myth breakdown

"AI is expensive"

It isn't, for small businesses. Enterprise AI projects cost hundreds of thousands because they're customized to complex existing systems. A small business's needs (speed-to-lead, follow-up, common questions) are covered by tools that cost less to install than a month of a part-time employee.

"AI needs technical staff to manage"

Modern AI tools don't require developers on your side. What we build is designed to run without you touching the code. You see the output, we handle the operation (or you run it yourself once we hand it over).

"AI needs lots of data to work"

Not for the applications small businesses actually need. Generating a good reply to an enquiry, following up on a "maybe," answering "do you take new clients?" None of these require a large training dataset. The underlying AI models are already trained.

Where the size question does matter

Very small businesses (single-person operations with only a handful of enquiries a month) may not have enough volume for automation to pay for itself immediately. That's a "wait a few months" answer, not a "no, never" answer. If you're getting ten or more enquiries a month and losing some to slow response, follow-up gaps, or admin friction, you're big enough.

Where to start

The first system is almost always speed-to-lead: instant response to new enquiries. It's the smallest scope, the fastest to install, and typically produces the most measurable revenue impact in the shortest time.
